For Zap Tharwat and Sary Hany’s album, the vision was to transform a unified stage concept into a cohesive visual journey spanning nine distinct music videos. Serving as both Co-Director and Director of Photography, the challenge was to engineer a versatile lighting plan and a rigorous camera shot list that could adapt to a diverse lineup of guest stars while maintaining a singular aesthetic identity.
For the launch of Marwan Moussa’s album Florida, the creative objective was to build a vibrant, stylized world that mirrored the project's sonic identity. This promo served as a massive "lighting paint" exercise, where the environment was sculpted through bold color and atmospheric depth to create a surreal, high-energy aesthetic.
The production's centerpiece involved a cinematic reveal of legendary star Ashraf Abdel Baqee, executed through a meticulously choreographed five-camera motion sequence. This technical feat allowed for a seamless, multi-angle perspective that heightened the drama of the moment. Balancing complex lighting transitions with precision movement, the shoot stands as a favorite example of how technical engineering can elevate a visual layer into a memorable piece of entertainment.
The official reveal of Yehya El Deraa as the first handball athlete to join the Red Bull roster, the visual strategy focused on capturing the raw power and technical agility of the sport. Serving as the Director of Photography, the goal was to create a high-energy introduction that matched the brand’s iconic aesthetic while establishing a unique visual identity for handball.
By utilizing dynamic camera movements and high-contrast lighting, the production emphasizes the athlete’s precision and explosive movement. The result is a cinematic reveal that bridges the gap between sports documentary and brand storytelling, marking a significant cultural milestone for the sport in the region through a sharp, impactful visual layer.
The creative objective was to blend the raw authenticity of a documentary with the polished scale of a high-end cinematic production. Spanning a challenging seven-day shoot, the project required a multidisciplinary approach to capture the diverse operations of various departments in their truest form.
The visual direction focused on creating a "master gallery" of the force, using a documentary-style lens to ground the grandeur of the departments in a sense of realism. By navigating complex logistics and a rigorous filming schedule, the result is a powerful, multifaceted narrative that serves as both a high-impact media asset and an honest look into the precision of the department.
For this action-drama commercial for the police department, the focus was on elevating the standard public service announcement into the realm of high-end cinema. Serving as the Director of Photography, the mission was to treat every frame with the visual gravity of a feature film, blending the intensity of the action with a sophisticated, cinematic lighting language.
The core of the creative challenge was to maintain the directness of a commercial while delivering the atmospheric depth of a drama. By prioritizing texture, scale, and high-contrast visuals, the production successfully transformed a tactical demonstration into an engaging, movie-like experience. The result is a piece that doesn't just inform, but immerses the viewer in a narrative world of precision and impact.

Working as both DOP and Producer for these five episodes allowed me to get close to the man behind the myth. I approached this series as a visual conversation—using warm, intimate framing and a character-driven lens to mirror Mounir’s own philosophical depth. It’s a project where the storytelling lives in the quiet moments, the shadows, and the authentic textures of a life lived through art.

Being behind the lens for the first two seasons was about more than just lighting a set; it was about creating a visual language for a new era of digital storytelling. As DOP, I worked to build a high-energy, immersive world that could keep pace with the show’s brilliant, rapid-fire intellect. We didn’t just want people to learn; we wanted them to be visually hooked by the rhythm of the information.
For the 2021 and 2022 Military College Graduation Ceremonies, the focus was on capturing the immense scale and disciplined precision of a national milestone. Serving as the Director of Photography and Head of the Camera Department, the responsibility involved orchestrating a complex visual broadcast aired across all Egyptian government channels. By balancing rigorous technical coordination with a cinematic lens, the production translated the gravity and grandeur of the ceremony into a powerful, high-definition experience, ensuring every moment of this prestigious event was preserved as a significant piece of national history.
For this Marwan Pablo live experience, the mission was to engineer a cinematic solution that matched the weight of a monumental comeback. Serving as Co-Director and Producer for Kord Agency, the focus was on translating the artist's raw, high-energy return into a structured visual narrative. By balancing large-scale production logistics with a sharp, contemporary aesthetic, the live experience was transformed into a definitive cultural moment—designed to be felt as much as seen, and preserved as a lasting visual treasure.

For the second season of this celebrated docuseries, I captured the cultural essence of the Citadel of Amman in Jordan through a specialized visual lens. By utilizing a double-speed filming technique to create evocative slow-motion sequences, I translated the historical atmosphere of the site into a cinematic narrative. This technical approach deepened the emotional impact of the music’s storytelling, bridging the gap between ancient heritage and contemporary sound.
For the Shkoon live performance in Cairo, the focus was on preserving a minimalist aesthetic while capturing the raw, electronic pulse of the event. Serving as Co-Director of this cinematic live documentary, the challenge was to integrate a hybrid multicamera setup—blending human intuition with remote-operated precision—to complement the show’s bespoke LED screen design. This approach ensured that the visual layer remained unobtrusive yet deeply impactful, allowing the music’s narrative to lead while transforming the gig into a refined, high-definition memory.

A monumental fusion of ancient heritage and global pop culture at one of the world’s most iconic heritage sites. Serving as the Head of the Camera Department and Producer, I managed the technical complexity of a global international broadcast for "Live Now." This role required a sophisticated balance of large-scale production leadership and high-end cinematic execution to deliver a world-class viewing experience for a global audience.
